* Finger jointed oak is made of smaller pieces oak wood which are glued together.The effeciency of using all most the whole trunk of the tree made this an sustainable solution in using less wood.
* Finger jointed oak wood is is less susceptible to warping or cracking of the wood.
* Finger jointed wood can have a lower ecological impact because there is less waste and smaller pieces of wood can also be used.
Solid Oak stores CO2
A line table 200*100 cm stores 128 KG CO 2, this is equivalent of driving a middle class petrol car for 1.077 km.
